After struggling for a couple of years in the Busch series, Jimmie Johnson took the Nascar Winston Cup series by storm in 2002. In his breakout rookie year Johnson racked up 5 poles, 3 wins, 6 top fives, 21 top tens, and finished 5th in the standings. He also finished second in the Rookie of the Year standings to Ryan Newman. His success has continued in 2003. After 31 races he has 2 poles, 3 wins, 9 top fives, 15 top tens, and sits 5th in the points. He is definitely one of the future stars of Nascar. Sterling Marlin (2,500 @ $4.00)

One of Nascar's veterans, Sterling Marlin has been around the Winston Cup series since 1976. His success was limited until the early '90s where he won back-to-back Daytona 500s. 2002 looked to be Sterling's year. He was the points leader for 25 weeks until a late-season slump ended his title hopes, and his season. A crash at Kansas left him with a broken vertebrae and he had to sit out the last 7 races. 2003 has been a struggle for Marlin. He currently sits 19th in the Nascar Winston Cup standings.
