Being a Louisiana native, I would normally say buy this guy. But his quarterback rating is among the lowest of any quarterback in the NFL. His rating is 48.4. In week one he appeared to have some potential. He still has a lot of upside. But he's not a rookie and, at $6.50, I say just pick this guy up on the secondary market. At best he will be a decent QB. Don't buy this one.
Joey looked impressive the first week. This has a lower print run than his rookie card, which had a print run of 8,000 and is selling for around $8 - $10 now. If this card sells out I doubt it will stay above IPO. However, this kid is the real deal, and will be a starter in the NFL for years to come. Has the potential to be one of the best. Buy this one.
Surprisingly, Coles is the league's leading reciever in yards so far this season. His 2002 card had a print run of 2,285 and is hovering around $7. At $6.50 with a lower print run, this card should be higher than his previous card, considering it wasn't a rookie card. Additionally, this is his first eTopps card featuring him in a Redskins uniform. Buy this card.
Onterrio is a rookie out of Oregon. He has 11 rushing attempts this season and has gaineed 50 yards. 47 of those yards were against the hapless Bears. He hasn't gotten much playing time to show his skills. Looking at his recent college stats, I would say he does have potential. This card is a Buy.
| Recent College Stats: |
| Year | No. | Yards | Avg. | Long | TD |
| 2002 | 244 | 1,141 | 4.7 | 57 | 12 |
| 2001 | 175 | 1,058 | 6.0 | 73 | 7 |
Lewis is one of the best linebackers in the NFL. Here's all you need to know: his previous card from 2001 has a print run of 649. Current price is $16 - $17. If you want a cheaper alternative BUY This card!
Alexander is a decent running back with good skills. The downside is he has two previous cards. His 2001 card has a smaller print run. His stats are decent this season. However, with 2 previous cards, DONT BUY THIS CARD.
How 'bout them Cowboys! Those days are over but this rookie cornerback looks like a good buy. In college he saw action on both sides of the ball - rushing, receiving, defense. So far this season he has 10 tackles and 1 interception. The Cowboys showed a lot of confidence in picking him in the first round of the 2003 NFL draft. He signed a 7-year, $33 million contract with a $13 million signing bonus. I say he is a MUST buy for football fans, especially Cowboys fans.
A good quarterback, Trent has had a bit of a shaky start with 3 TD's and 5 interceptions. However, he is still doing better than the majority of the league. His team is looking good this year on both sides of the ball. It never hurts to have Priest Holmes in your backfield. This card has a good price and good print run but his other cards are better buys. His 2001 has a print run of 331 but sells for $32 - $33. His 2002 has a print run of 2,000 and is selling for $2. You tell me which one you are going to buy. It will have 500 cards less than his 2002, guaranteed. A fourth less cards but twice the price? I've heard predictions of this team going all the way this season. If he does you may be happy with this purchase. If you see the Chiefs going all the way pick it up on eBay. Don't buy this card.
